Anton Bilchik Celebrates New Research Relating Aspirin to Survival Rate

A study published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society that has caught the eye of top colon cancer doctor Anton Bilchik shows that the use of aspirin by older colon cancer patients can help increase the survival rate. The study indicated that older people with colon cancer who were prescribed a daily dose of aspirin were less likely to die, by about half, compared to those who were not. The effect was most profound in people with more advanced stages of colon cancer and who received no chemotherapy.
