Don’t Ignore These 10 Signs of Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic Cancer

Women’s Health recently published an article about 10 possible symptoms of Pancreatic Cancer, which happens to have one of the highest death rates of any cancer. Pancreatic Cancer is extremely hard to detect in treatable stages, which is why only 8% of people are reported to survive five years after initial diagnosis. Women’s Health was able to secure an interview with Dr. Anton Bilchik, in which he commented the following,

“What I’ve observed is that women tend to wait and see the doctor until their symptoms are very bad, but because pancreatic cancer has such a high death rate, don’t take the risk,” he says. “If you have any of these symptoms, call your doctor; it’s not silly, we’d much rather see you and have it be nothing than miss a cancer.”

Below are the 10 common symptoms of Pancreatic Cancer to be aware of:

  • Your Eyes and Skin Are Yellow
  • You Look Four Months Pregnant
  • Your Favorite Dessert Makes Your Stomach Turn
  • You’re Unintentionally Dropping Weight
  • Your Lower Back Is Killing You
  • Your Pee Looks More Like Tea
  • You Can’t Stop Itching
  • You Have Alien Poops
  • Your Stomach Hurts for No Good Reason
  • You Just Feel Off
