Cancer in Young Adults Is Up, So What Can Be Done?

Cancer is on the rise in younger adults, and as a new study from The Lancet Pubic Health shows, the main cause is obesity. The study revealed significant increases in bone marrow, colorectal, uterine, gallbladder, kidney, and pancreatic cancer.

Healthline Magazine reached out to Dr. Anton Bilchik for his thoughts on the new study,

“What makes this study relevant is that it’s very large. What’s striking about this latest research is both its scope and the discovery that the incidence of some of these diseases is rising among successively younger groups.”

Dr. Anton Bilchik provides additional insight, including the trend among his own patients, in the full article at Healthline.
